• NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation)

NSDC was set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. Its mandate is also to enable support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training. It also develops appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives.

Our college has signed an MOU with NSDC as a recognized training centre in Kozhinjampara region which is open to all students nearby. Based on the preference of students, they can select a course in which they can excel

KELTRON

Keltron Knowledge Services Group a business unit under IT Business Group of Keltron, was formed in the year 1999 with the intention of imparting technical education at an affordable rate to the students in Kerala. Its mission is to set a higher benchmark in IT, ITeS & Computer education segment, provide quality education and emerge as a center of excellence in IT education and Knowledge services arena. KSG now conducts training through 35 direct centers and more than 200 Authorized Training Centres.

As our institution aims at higher education we collaborated with KELTRON and offer courses on various subjects to provide students with advanced knowledge and to enhance the employability of the students.

TAX STUDY CENTRE

Tax Study Centre has now grown into a professionally managed Premier Vocational Educational Institution. We have been imparting various Practical Accounting courses to the Commerce Stream students for the last 28 years. In 2007 our Head Office has been shifted to Kaloor, Ernakulam for administrative convenience and for better service to our customers. National Council of Vocational and Research Training, popularly known as NCVRT, is an autonomous body, recognized by The Government of India. NCVRT is India’s largest Vocational Training Organization, spread out in all States of India. Their aim is to provide students quality training that will allow them to build up a professional career in the field of their interest, as well as to enable the young generation to inculcate self-employment attitude and thereby achieving self-sufficiency.  

            The collaboration with Tax Study Centre became a milestone in the history of Bharathamatha College. Twenty Five students got enrolled in Diploma in Goods and Service Tax Practice (DGSTP) and received the course completion certificate which enhanced their employability.

ICA ACADEMY

ICA Edu Skills began its journey in 1999 with a vision to train the job-focused youth in India and make them employable at affordable fees. As the industry demands ‘skilled manpower’, we too, expanded our horizon to not just provide practical training to our students but also support them with placement at top companies and MNCs. Today ICA is recognized as the best training institute in India to have shaped millions of careers and changed peoples’ perception about Accounts, Finance, and Tax Education. ICA takes pride in contributing to India’s skill development initiatives – not only as an independent set-up but also as a training partner for multiple educational brands and government projects.

As a new journey we tied up with ICA academy and offered courses to students for enriching their knowledge and skills. The students should maintain a minimum grade point to meet score test. A few of the students enrolled for SAP course and received the certificate of appreciation.

COURSERA

COURSERA is an American Massive Open Online Course platform founded by Stanford University Professors. COURSERA works with universities and other organizations to offer online courses, certifications, and degrees in a variety of subjects. In 2021 it was estimated that about 150 universities offered more than 4,000 courses through COURSERA. The courses last approximately four to twelve weeks, with one to two hours of video lectures a week. These courses provide quizzes, weekly exercises, peer-graded and reviewed assignments, an optional Honors assignment, and sometimes a final project or exam to complete the course.

Our institution has a great privilege to get collaborated with COURSERA by taking a membership during the pandemic situation. The students along with faculty enrolled in several courses and received the certificates from top universities like Illinois, Deakin University, and University of Leeds etc. at free of cost. All students were encouraged to take at least Two courses of their interest. Some of the courses were recommended to the students as part of their syllabus.
